Data packs offer you even better value on Pay As You Go, as they come pre-loaded with unlimited minutes and texts, along with an allowance of data that you can use for one calendar month. You’ll also be able to use your minutes, texts, and data abroad with Go Roam Around the World.

Can I just buy credit and simply pay for my usage?

Yes, order a free SIM and you can then top-up and enjoy low Pay As You Go rates that don’t expire. Just 35p per minute, 15p per text and 10p per MB of data. You will be able to pay the same rates in the EU and other free roaming destinations as you do in the UK for data or for calling or texting the UK or Europe. But calls and texts to countries outside Europe (even if you’re in them) can often cost more.

I already have a SIM card, can I just buy a Pay As You Go top-up?

Absolutely. The same data packs can be purchased by topping up an existing SIM, or you can just top-up with credit. Find out more on how to top-up.

Do I get free roaming abroad with a Pay As You Go SIM?

Yes, if you buy a data pack you can use your minutes, texts, and data abroad in 71 destinations at no extra cost with Go Roam Around the World. The only limitation is you can use a maximum of 12GB of roaming data each month, and if you’re outside Europe then you’re also limited to 3000 minutes and texts back to the UK.

It's worth noting that Three now charges most customers to roam, but at the time of writing this won’t apply to Pay As You Go – so you’ll be able to continue using your allowances at no extra cost.

Can I tether with a Pay As You Go plan?

Yes, tethering is allowed on Pay As You Go plans in the UK, or in a Go Roam destination.

Can I order a free SIM?

Yes, a free SIM can be ordered here which can then be topped-up with credit or a bundle after it arrives.
