The iPhone 16 Pro Max is Apple’s biggest and best iPhone, and this year it’s even bigger than previous Pro Max models, as the screen has grown from the 6.7 inches of the iPhone 15 Pro Max to a massive 6.9 inches.

Despite that, the overall size of the phone isn’t much bigger, as Apple has managed to shrink the bezels down to barely-there sizes.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max isn’t just bigger than ever though, it also has a new button, dubbed the Camera Control button. This lets you use a hardware key to open the camera from any screen on your phone, and then you can use the same button to take photos or record videos. But you can also swipe across it to change camera settings and zoom in or out. So it makes this phone a lot more like a compact camera.

And to help you make the most of that button, the iPhone 16 Pro Max also has an upgraded ultra-wide camera, with a 48MP sensor in place of its predecessor’s 12MP one, so your ultra-wide and macro photos are higher resolution. That’s joined by an exceptional 48MP main camera, which this year is also capable of recording video in up to 4K quality at 120fps, and a 12MP telephoto, with a long-distance 5x optical zoom.

Elsewhere, the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a super-powerful A18 Pro chipset. There’s enough power from this to run AAA console games, and also to smoothly deliver AI functions, which will be arriving on the phone via software updates.

And the iPhone 16 Pro Max also has the best ever iPhone battery life, lasting for up to 33 hours of video playback.

Plus the iPhone 16 Pro Max comes with masses of storage, a water resistant build, a Dynamic Island, an Action button, Face ID, and every other iPhone feature you’d expect.
