Overview

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G could almost be a member of the Samsung Galaxy S21 range, as it has many comparable features, including a 6.5-inch 1080 x 2400 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

That’s bigger than the display on the Samsung Galaxy S21, and the same resolution and refresh rate. The Galaxy A52 5G also has a bigger 4,500mAh battery (complete with speedy 25W fast charging), and more cameras, with four on the back.

There’s a 64MP main one, a 12MP ultra-wide one, a 5MP macro one, and a 5MP depth one, plus you get a high-spec 32MP one on the front.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G also includes 5G of course, plus a water-resistant build, so you can safely get it wet. And it has an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a stylish design, with an all-screen front.

The main thing that marks it out as not quite as high-end as the Samsung Galaxy S21 is its power, which thanks to a Snapdragon 750G chipset and 6GB of RAM is upper mid-range, rather than truly top tier, but there’s still more than enough power here for games and multitasking.

And when you consider that this costs roughly half as much as the Samsung Galaxy S21, that slightly lower-end chipset feels more than reasonable. This is an excellent value phone then, and for most users it will have everything you need.
